About The Artist

Retired high school teacher Fiona Fox originally trained as a silversmith but spent her career teaching Design Technology in London, UK. In 2020 Fiona discovered the world of coloured pencil art and a worldwide community of pencil artists. She was immediately captivated by this medium and embraced its versatility and challenges. Fiona enjoys combining different types of pencils to create unique hues and textures. Her favourite subjects to draw are portraits of both humans and animals capturing a particular moment in time.
