About The Artist

Yueyang(Angela) Zou was born in Chongqing, a beautiful mountainous city on the Yangtze River in China. She studied drawing, painting, and sketching at Shichuan Art institute in Chongqing before she came to the United State with her family in Nov, 2010. From 2017 to 2020, she studied at the Middle Tennessee State University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Visual Art degree. She often visits to various art museums and galleries to learn from famous artists. She likes to paint landscape and drawing oil pastel at her home in Oshkosh, WI. Her paintings are frequently inspired by the places she has been to or things in everyday life. Such as the ocean from West Palm Beach, her grandpa’s garden and her college’s memories. She hope her arts would bring joy and peace to people.
